Employees can receive their flu vaccination Oct. 22 through Oct. 29, from 6:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. daily, across from the Shop on the Pike. Annual TB screening will also be available.
BWH is looking for enthusiastic people to participate in the Partners in Excellence Award video on Friday Oct. 28, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Participate in this year’s video dance segment and groove to the sounds of Katy Perry and Blake Shelton. The BWH community is joining Hindu, Jain and Sikh patients, families and staff members to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights and art. All are invited to attend a celebration with lights, food, music and crafts on Oct. 26, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on the second floor mezzanine near the Shapiro Bridge. In addition, the regular interfaith chapel service at noon will include the retelling of the story of Diwali and traditional music. Hosted by Chaplaincy Services, Human Resources and the Center for Faculty Development and Diversity.
The BWH Co-ed Basketball League seeks captains and players for the 2010-2011 season. The registration deadline is Nov. 13; the season begins Dec. 1 and games are Tuesday nights at Basketball City in Boston. To register and for more information, email cdadams@partners.org
