The neighborhood we work in is also the home for hundreds of area residents. BWH’s Parking and Security office would like to remind employees that the parking spaces on the streets surrounding the hospital are posted for resident parking only. The Boston Transportation and Police Departments enforce this restriction daily, but we would ask that employees refrain from parking on the streets immediately adjacent to the hospital, as well as those of the Mission Hill neighborhood including Tremont and Calumet Streets. As an alternative, employees are encouraged to take advantage of recently expanded off-site parking options and the 45 percent subsidy on MBTA passes. "In addition to doubling the T-pass subsidy, the hospital has invested in additional off-site parking spaces and enhanced shuttle services. We now have available spaces in locations convenient to employees commuting from the north, south and west," said Arthur Mombourquette, vice president, Support Services.
