Volunteer of the Year Nomination FormVolunteer Award Recipients
The Volunteer of the Year Awards Program is designed to honor individuals who have committed to service above self, while helping BWH to fulfill its mission of quality patient care, teaching and research excellence.
Awards will be presented to those individuals who have demonstrated superior leadership in the development of a new program, exceptional service to a department and outstanding customer service skills. The highest honor, bestowed upon the Volunteer of the Year, will recognize that individual who upholds the values of BWH – teamwork, respect, embracing change and leadership - and assists the hospital in promoting these values throughout BWH and the greater Boston community.
All volunteers with more than one year of service are eligible for nomination.
Nominations can be made by anyone in the hospital, but must be approved by the volunteer’s immediate supervisor. Additionally, nominations must be limited to one volunteer per department.
