The Democratic National Convention (DNC), July 26-29, is now just one week away
The hospital has been working with local officials and is prepared to operate as usual, with appropriate staffing levels. With news of transportation changes and road closings daily, it’s important for BWH commuters to make advanced preparations for commuting challenges, particularly during the hours of 4 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Remember to: • Wear your hospital ID badge at all times. Take it home as well, since it provides emergency access in the event of travel restrictions. • Keep your pager on and make sure the battery is fully charged. • Make back-up plans for care of children or pets in case it is necessary to stay at the hospital beyond your regular shift. • Check broadcast e-mails. During DNC week, Public Affairs will issue them for breaking news.
