Basic Medical Terminology Class
Learn medical terminology in just 20 hours of instruction in medical language for administrative support staff, allied health professionals and others. Students learn to analyze, decipher, spell and pronounce medical terms. Emphasis is on understanding terms in their proper context as they relate to the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the human body. Fee is $50 ($30 is reimbursable under the BWH tuition reimbursement policy). The course takes place over 10 consecutive Mondays, from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. September 16, 23, 30; October 7, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18, 25. Classes will be held in the Thorn B-C Conference Room.
