Rapid RailThe new CommuteWorks’ “Rapid Rail” Program is being offered to the employees of MASCO’s member institutions who currently drive and are registered parkers in or around the Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA). The “Rapid Rail” Program allows employees in the LMA to try the MBTA commuter rail for a three month trial period if they agree to put their parking spaces on hold temporarily for those three months. CommuteWorks will subsidize participants’ monthly commuter rail passes ($65 a month) and pay 100 percent of their parking at the commuter rail stations. To register for the “Rapid Rail” Program, contact Melissa Marantz at (617) 632-2796 or at mmarantz@masco.harvard.edu. Employees may also register for the “Rapid Rail” Program on-line at www.masco.org/commuteworks under the “New Transportation Alternatives” portion of the website.
