All staff are invited to attend the upcoming screening of “The Angry Heart” in the Bornstein Amphitheater on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A reception will precede the screening at 6 p.m. in Pod B of the Cafeteria.
“The Angry Heart” is a video documentary on the devastating impact of heart disease and racism on African-Americans in the United States. It tells the story of Keith Hartgrove, a resident of Roxbury, Mass., who suffered two massive heart attacks before the age of 45.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Sarah-Ann Shaw. Panelists will include representatives from various health organizations, as well as Keith Hartgrove himself.
