The Office for Postdoctoral Careers (OPC) in the Center for Faculty Development and Diversity changed its name to the Office for Postdoctoral and Research Careers (OPRC) to more accurately reflect its mission and work. The OPRC will continue to address issues confronting the postdoctoral community while broadening its scope to focus on the needs and interests of researchers at all levels.
“This provides us the opportunity to stay connected with postdoctoral fellows, through OPRC programs and services, as their careers progress past their postdoctoral training positions,” said Caroline Rotondi, administrative director of the OPRC.
“The postdoc fellows are the engine of many research initiatives. Additionally, it is important for us to support the career development of research scientists at BWH,” said Barbara Bierer, MD, director of the OPRC and CFDD and senior vice president of Research.
