Marking a holiday tradition reflecting the hospital’s ongoing relationship with the local community, children from several local elementary schools, including the BWH partner Tobin School participated in the Annual Brigham Circle Tree Lighting. The festive celebration included a Christmas carol sing-along and a special appearance by Santa Claus. The December 6 event was sponsored by The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services, BWH and Mission Hill Main Streets. State Representative Kevin Fitzgerald and City Councilor Mike Ross led the ceremony and BWH provided cookies and juice for the children. Mission Hill Main Streets handed out holiday bags packed with information about Mission Hill and the new city-wide Holidays on Main Streets discount card. Contact the Mission Hill Main Streets office for information about this program at 617-427-7399.
