The Harvard Catalyst Pilot Funding program has awarded one-year grants of $50,000 to 62 collaborative groups from Harvard schools and academic health care centers. Nine of the grants were awarded to groups with principal investigators from BWH, while 20 groups included at least one BWH investigator.
With the grants, Harvard Catalyst aims to stimulate clinical and translational research by bringing researchers from different institutions and disciplines together to work collaboratively, by providing the means to generate preliminary data needed to apply for long-term funding and by focusing scientific resources and expertise on high-risk, high-impact areas of research.
The following principal investigators from BWH will lead collaborative groups that may also include co-investigators from BWH and other Harvard-affiliated institutions:
