BWH celebrated Bring Your Child to Work Day with an array of activities and tours for the nearly 70 children who visited the hospital.
“It was great day,” said Carlen Singmaster, special events coordinator, who teamed up with departments across the hospital to plan an exciting day for the young visitors. “Kids really enjoy it because it gives them an opportunity to find out what their parents’ days are like at work.”
In addition to shadowing their parents and sponsors, participants toured Radiology, Pathology, the Blood Bank, Blood Donor Center, Biomedical Engineering, Image Servicing/Radiology Imaging and Food Services.
