Friends of BWH sponsor a Scrubs Fair, Sept. 14, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.; Sept. 15, 7 a.m.–3 p.m.; and Sept. 16, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., across from the Shop on the Pike. Special orders are accepted if the supply of sizes and colors runs out. The sale price of scrubs includes a 10 percent discount off manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
Healthy Hearts Research Studies holds a free public health screening, Sept. 20, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., in the One Brigham Circle lobby. The Friends of BWH host a Red Sox ticket raffle for the Oct. 1 game against the New York Yankees. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Two winners will be drawn Sept. 24 for a pair of tickets each. Purchase tickets by Sept. 23 at Shop on the Pike or call 617-732-8125.

The BWH Health Information Services’ (HIS) annual Clinical Systems Audit is underway through Sept. 24. During this audit, HIS reviews staff and employee access to clinical systemsincluding the Longitudinal Medical Record (LMR), the Clinical Data Repository (CDR, results), BICS Clinical Information (CI), BICS ART (Charge and Audit System) and BICS ARV (Cash System) in order to comply with federally mandated requirements to protect health information.
