The BWH Young Professionals group is seeking donations for its 2012 office supply drive to benefit Mission Hill schools. Suggested donations include new pens, pencils, markers, paper and more. Safety Matters Quality Rounds will resume on Sept. 13, at noon, in the Bornstein Amphitheater. The first speaker will be Ashish K. Jha, MD, MPH, who will discuss the impact of the Affordable Care Act on the quality of hospital care. The rounds will be held on the second Thursday of each month, at noon in Bornstein, through June.

Beginning Aug. 21, most sharps boxes on the main campus will be replaced by reusable sharps containers provided by Stericycle. Purell hand sanitizer dispensers will also be replaced with hands-free dispensers. The update will take two weeks.
