Now, mothers of newborns can stock up on baby supplies before leaving BWH. As of late last year, BWH’s NICU on CWN 6 became the proud owner of a Milkpod, a vending machine stocked with baby supplies, including swaddle blankets, vitamins, breast pumping kits and other materials. The vending machine, which accepts cash and credit cards, is accessible to all families, not just those of BWH’s littlest patients. The first of its kind, the Milkpod was created with the help of BWH’s lactation consultants and has been a big hit with BWH’s families of newborns.
