In This Issue:
A century ago, a construction crew worked diligently to construct Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, one of BWH's predecessor institutions, before it opened in 1913 at 15 Francis St. Today, the 15 Francis St. entrance is seeing another construction cycle, but this time, it is to complete the Thea and James M. Stoneman Centennial Park and Brigham Patient Parking Garage, scheduled to open in spring 2014. The result will bring an open space to the bustling Brigham Circle, reminiscent of the old green at the Peter Bent Brigham. The photo above fuses the old (center photo) with the new.
