What is a hackathon, you ask? Put a group of more than 100 engineers, scientists, clinicians, coders and designers in one room and give them 24 hours to create tangible solutions to health care's largest problems. The result was BWH iHub's first annual Hackathon.
From Sept. 20 to 22, the newly established innovation center, BWH iHub, held its inaugural hackathon, with MIT H@cking Medicine, giving participants an opportunity to pitch projects to help bring their solutions from the drawing board to the clinical space, and ultimately improve health care delivery. Check out this video, which follows the team Next Steps through the hackathon process.
