Empowering Employees to Advance at BWH
With a mission focused on offering customized, practical training to improve organizational performance, the new Department of Organizational Development, Training, and Diversity Management (ODTDM) has been designed to support the hospital’s culture of continuous learning and institutional growth. The department, which aims to enhance the overall quality of worklife, has been established to give BWH the capability to offer performance improvement interventions in-house.
“Our goal is to help enhance performance by using systematic assessments to design solutions to performance problems we sometimes face when working in an organization as large as BWH,” said Robin Vann Ricca, MPH, JD, director of the department. “Moreover, we seek to work collaboratively with departments in effecting the proper solution to fit their needs,” she added.
In addition to Vann Ricca, Lisa Brenner, Projects and Training coordinator; and Deborah Conlon, Human Resources coordinator, also staff the new department. All have significant experience and certification in organizational analysis, training design, and facilitation. To reach the department, contact your Human Resources generalist or call 525-3148 or 525-3136.
