Mitchell Rein, MD, is the new vice chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rein, a Board Certified specialist in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, is also chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Salem Hospital and Union Hospital in Lynn and director of Women’s Services for The North Shore Medical Center. An associate professor of Clinical Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Rein’s clinical interests include infertility treatment, in-vitro fertilization, abnormal bleeding, alternatives to hysterectomy, endometriosis, menopause, reproductive endocrinology, and uterine fibroids.
