BWH Earns Silver Award for Economic Development
BWH was recognized by the Massachusetts Alliance for Economic Development (MAED) with a silver award for community involvement and job creation, stemming from its $360 million investment in the new Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center. MAED is a non-profit organization that works with state partners and more than 50 private sector members to encourage the expansion and retention of businesses within Massachusetts. On Nov. 25, at the fifth annual Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Awards at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, Art Mombourquette, vice president of Support Services for BWH, accepted the award on behalf of BWH.
