Thoracic Surgery Text Published
The Department of Surgery announces the publication of its latest textbook, Adult Chest Surgery, published by The McGraw-Hill Companies, New York, and edited by David J. Sugarbaker, MD, the Richard E. Wilson Professor of Surgical Oncology, and chief of Thoracic Surgery at BWH. This nearly 1,200-page textbook with 600 illustrations is a comprehensive compendium of thoracic surgery as developed and practiced at BWH over the last two decades.
In addition to Sugarbaker, three of the associate editors are currently or were formerly affiliated with BWH Thoracic Surgery: Raphael Bueno, Steven J. Mentzer and Lambros Zellos. Many of the contributors to this volume were trained at the Division of Thoracic Surgery, the largest thoracic surgery practice and training program in North America.
