BWH Receives Masspro Award

BWH last month received the Collaborative Sharing of Best Practices Award from Masspro at the organization’s Celebrating Hospital Quality in Massachusetts event. The award recognizes hospitals that assist in the spread of performance improvement systems by providing and sharing their experience at Masspro Quality Improvement Collaboratives through the provision of faculty and presentations from talented, experienced staff.

Masspro is a performance-improvement organization dedicated to advancing health care quality. Founded by the Massachusetts Medical Society, Masspro transforms health care by developing and disseminating innovative solutions across all sectors of the health care delivery system. Through collaborative efforts with health care providers, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Massachusetts Office of Medicaid, employer groups, physician practices, health plans, specialty societies, advocacy groups and beneficiaries, Masspro aims to improve safety, effectiveness and efficiency of patient care.
