Katrina Bickerstaff, RN of the BWH Post Anesthesia Care unit, was recently elected president of the Massachusetts Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses. During her two-year term, Bickerstaff will attend the National Conference of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). She will also run meetings of the Massachusetts chapter. ASPAN advances nursing practice through education, research and standards. Bickerstaff has been a member of the Massachusetts chapter for eight years.
