Ten BWHers last month graduated from the Partners In Care Patient Care Assistant Training Program, a 15-session training program that paves the way for many entry-level employees to advance their careers in health care. Thomas Sullivan, RN, of Nursing Services and Nursing Education, teaches the weekly, day-long class, offered at Bunker Hill Community College since 2001. For many students, it marks the important first step on the path to a career in nursing. The graduates are (seated from left) Glenda Gilbert, Carmen Diaz, Olga Bautista; standing from left, Dwayne Wheeler, Vilma Prout, Rebecca Tiso-Leach, Subaill Nigaglion-Ramos and Kevin Durickas. Miguel Romero and Aleida Lopes are not pictured.
