Are you ready for JCAHO?
Media attention typically gained by BWH for delivering the first baby born in the state went elsewhere this New Year’s Day. BWH does however own the right to Boston’s first baby born in 2001. Mirea Ina Klee, pictured above, came into the world at 1:04 a.m. on 1/01/01, weighing 6 lbs., 5 oz. at 18 inches long. The little bundle is the daughter and first child of proud parents Lori Van Dam and Charles Klee of Brookline. BWH presented the family with a special basket filled with baby items and other treats for the whole family.
