Are you ready for JCAHO?
Employees now have until March 31 to refer a friend to work at BWH and collect $500. BWH has extended the Employee Referral Program for a second time. It provides a financial bonus of $500 (after taxes) after three months to current employees who refer new employees to the hospital. All BWH employees, medical staff and BWH-based Partners HealthCare System employees are eligible to refer candidates for open positions at BWH. To qualify for the financial bonus, the referred candidate must successfully complete his or her initial review period and the referring employee must be an active employee at BWH. Said Cheryl Locke, vice president, Human Resources, “One of the more important aspects of this program is that employees have an opportunity to identify other committed staff who will be their teammates, co-workers and those who will care about BWH and its patients and families as much as they do. Giving people a say in who their teammates are is a great way to build a team.” At last count, 153 employees have been hired through the program, with 50 bonuses already paid out to date to referring employees.
