Two-time Super Bowl champ and grateful patient Tedy Bruschi opened the 7th annual Partners Night at the Pops: A Celebration in Honor of Our Physicians by thanking the 1,000 Partners physicians in attendance for the top-notch medical care they offer. “Year after year, the care you give your patients is ranked among the best in the country on every scorecard there is,” said the New England Patriots defensive lineman. “I’m proud to be part of a Super Bowl winning team, but you should be proud to be part of the team that is the Super Bowl champion of medicine.”
Led by Conductor Keith Lockhart, the Boston Pops launched into a Baby Boomer Bash, featuring tunes from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. The highlight of the evening was the physician talent showcased during a “name that television medley” contest and sing-a-long.
