Want to meet with other young people from around the BWH campus who share similar professional goals?
The BWH Young Professional Group invites employees between the ages of 18 and 35 to a kick-off luncheon Thursday, June 17, noon to 1 p.m., in the Shapiro Cardiovascular Center’s third floor lounge.
Sponsored by Human Resources’ Organizational Development & Learning and Sharon Vitti, vice president of Clinical Services, the group aims to create a sense of community among BWH’s young professionals.
“Young professionals at BWH are so dynamic, and this group will expand their potential to become leaders in the near future,” said Vitti. “I’m excited and at the same time flattered to work with our young employees.”
During next week’s luncheon, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the group and share ideas about future professional development, career advancement and networking opportunities geared towards the early career health care workforce.
