Beginning this month, Quality Rounds will take place on Wednesdays in Bornstein Amphitheater. The new location accommodates Live Streaming technology, which enables BWH employees to view Quality Rounds as it happens, right from their computer desktop. “The Case for Change,” presented by Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, Partners’ president and CEO, is Wednesday, Oct. 6, noon–1 p.m., in the Bornstein Amphitheater. The BWH community is invited to attend the Boston launch of "The Match," which chronicles the story of the lives transformed by the first face transplant at BWH. Tickets cost $60 online and $65 at the door. Proceeds benefit Team Heart Rwanda, the BWH-led organization that performs life-saving cardiac surgery for patients in Rwanda. The event is Nov. 10, 7:30–9:30 p.m., at Harvard Medical School's Joseph B. Martin Conference Center.
