Thinking of improving your health and losing weight? Join the Cardiovascular Wellness Service for a free, introductory seminar to Take Shape for Life, a program that combines the power of quality weight-loss meal replacements and skilled, caring coaching to help you lose weight. Three introductory sessions with free samples of meal replacements and an opportunity to discuss options with a certified health coach will be offered May 22 at 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., on the Shapiro third floor porch. Did you get your New Balance Hubway gold-level membership yet? BWH is offering subsidized memberships (an $85 value) to BWH employees, and there are about 200 free memberships left. To register, email BWHPerks@partners.org with your name, employee ID number and email address. Your password will be emailed back to you. If you do not have an email address, you can stop by the Perks Office on L1 to obtain your password.
Registration opens May 21 for the BWH Backup Child Care Center’s June Vacation Club weeks. The club is for children ages 5 through 12 and runs from June 18 through 22 and June 25 through 29. This year, BWH will recognize the contributions of nearly 1,600 employees during the annual Employee Service Awards, June 14, at 4 p.m., in the Cabot Atrium. The lists of service award recipients are available on BWHPikeNotes.org. Check to see if you or a colleague is receiving an award this year.
