This year's BWH Biomedical Research Institute BRIght Futures Prize finalists are addressing these themes in their research, with the hope of receiving the first-ever $100,000 BRIght Futures Prize. The prize will be awarded to one of three entrants, and the BWH community and the public will be able to vote for which project they think should receive the funds.
The BRIght Futures Prize has engaged BWH staff since last spring when the Biomedical Research Institute asked employees to submit provocative medical questions they wanted answered. A handful of these questions were selected and presented to researchers to develop into projects.
Now, the BWH community and the public have another opportunity to weigh in by voting for the project they'd most like to see completed. Learn more about the projects here:

Starting Sept. 17, visit the BRIght Futures Fund website to vote. Polls will stay open until Nov. 1, and the winner will be announced at BWH Research Day on Nov. 15.
