Flu Vaccination Screening and Documentation for Inpatients
Flu vaccination will be available for admitted patients beginning Sept. 15. Pneumococcal vaccine is recommended for patients age 65 or older as well as younger patients with lower immunity and chronic health issues. Ambulatory practices may order vaccine from the Pharmacy. Patient Privacy – Disposing of Confidential Data
Do you know how to properly dispose of confidential data, such as medical records, billing records, and IV and prescription drug labels? Blood, Platelet Donor Centers Combine
The Blood Donor Center at BWH has merged with the Kraft Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Beginning Sept. 17, all blood donations will be collected at the joined facilities’ new location on the first floor of the Jimmy Fund Building.
