Principles of Pharmacology is the core course in pharmacology taken by all Harvard medical and dental students in the New Pathway curriculum. This course provides an intensive introduction to pharmacology, emphasizing basic mechanisms of drug action and principles of drug-receptor interactions, pharmacokinetics, and drug metabolism. Tutorials will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:45 am to 12:15 p.m. during this time period.
Tutors are also asked to attend a series of three one-hour meetings on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., at which the material in the upcoming case is discussed by an expert tutor.
