Clark Receives Scleroderma Foundation Research Grant
Rachael Ann Clark, MD, PhD, Department of Dermatology, in January received a three-year research grant from the Scleroderma Foundation for her study “Regulatory T cells in the Tight Skin 2 Mouse Model of Scleroderma.”
Her winning proposal was one of seven selected for its strong foundation of investigators, basic and translational research and health services research.
The Scleroderma Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the interests of people with Scleroderma, a chronic, sometimes fatal autoimmune disease associated with progressive sclerosis of the skin and other organs. The Foundation has 21 chapters nationwide and has provided more than $12.5 million dollars to research.
