BWH Welcomes New Faculty

More than 50 faculty members who have joined BWH over the past year gathered July 16 for a New Faculty Welcome Lunch hosted by the Center for Faculty Development & Diversity and the Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization.

“As your career unfolds, embrace all aspects of it. Get to know not only your colleagues, but your division chiefs or your department chairs,” said BWH President Betsy Nabel, MD. “Coming back to the Brigham was exciting to me because of the chance to help nurture, support and mentor your career development. You will contribute enormously to the life of our hospital.”

Sarah A. Kent, MD, PhD, of the Department of Medicine, was one of five speakers. “The Brigham is a big place, but it’s not an impersonal one,” she said. “Reach out, get involved.”
