Overall Patient Satisfaction Scores Show Gains

BWH made modest gains in inpatient satisfaction scores or remained consistent in several overall categories in April, May and June, showing slight improvement over the previous quarter, according to the latest results from the Press, Ganey® inpatient satisfaction survey.
For overall assessment questions, BWH ranked in the 94th percentile from April to June when compared to like-size teaching hospitals that use Press, Ganey®.
BWH made slight gains in physician-related questions over the prior reporting period, including overall physician rating that increased from 88.0 to 88.3. BWH physicians also made gains over the previous quarter in keeping patients informed and friendliness and courtesy scores.
