New Time Reporting Process Begins May 15

BWH will implement the new time reporting process and policy for non-exempt (hourly paid) employees May 15.
“The new way of managing time reporting will ensure that we continue to pay our employees correctly,” said Myron McCoo, JD, interim vice president of Human Resources. “Non-exempt employees should be paid for all time worked.”
With the new policy, non-exempt employees will use an electronic system to record time worked. Employees will be paid for all time worked, and there will be no rounding. In addition, non-exempt employees will complete training on the federal Wage & Hour laws. They will also have access to an anonymous, confidential telephone compliance line to report suspected abuse.
“We recognize that these changes are significant for BWH, and we realize their impact on individual employees and work groups,” McCoo said. “With your support and cooperation, we will ensure that we continue to pay our non-exempt employees for all time worked, and we are truly grateful for the wonderful care they provide to our patients and families every day.”
