Shapiro 6/7 and Tower 8 Leadership Appointments

Matt Quin, MSN, RN, who was director of the Cardiac Surgery ICU on Shapiro 6 West, has transitioned to Tower 8, where he serves as director of 8ABCD. Justin Precourt, MSN, RN, is now director of Shapiro 6 West, in addition to the intermediate care units on 6 East and 7 East/West.

Maria Saia

Maria Saia, MSN, RN, who is now serving as assistant nursing director of Shapiro 6 and 7, joined BWH in 1994. She has since served as a staff nurse in the Thoracic Surgery step-down unit, the Neurosciences ICU, and most recently the Cardiac Surgery ICU.  Saia is an adjunct clinical faculty member at Northern Essex Community College, where she is a clinical instructor for nursing students. She received her BSN from Boston College and her MSN from the University of Phoenix.

Diane Tsitos

Diane Tsitos, BSN, RN, was appointed assistant nursing director of Tower 8. Tsitos joined BWH in 2001as a staff nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.  Prior to that, she was an Emergency Room nurse at Marlborough Hospital. Tsitos earned her RN from Framingham Union Hospital, her BSN from Regis College and is currently enrolled in the master's degree program.
