BWHers Present at National Convention

Ed Courtney, RN, presented at the 35th Annual Association of Surgical Technologists Convention in Washington, D.C. Courtney, an OR surgical technologist, spoke about what surgical technologists can do to ensure patient safety in surgery. Claire Fitzgerald-O’Shea, RN, nurse manager, OR also discussed techniques to prevent surgical site infection at this year’s convention.
