Starfish Awards Return in Style

After a two-year hiatus, the BWH Starfish Awards returned this month with a casual but emotional ceremony at which six recipients were recognized in person for patient caring, respect, advocacy, compassion and mentoring. Four more BWHers received the award, but were unable to attend the April 13 event.

“All BWH caregivers provide our patients with excellent care, but our Starfish Award winners continuously go above and beyond, so much so their peers and managers have nominated them for this special recognition,” said Kimberly Ternavan, RN, MS/MBA, chairman of the revitalized Starfish Committee.
