BWHers have access to some of the best benefits in the health care industry. According to a recent survey conducted by international HR consultants Towers Perrin, BWH’s benefits rank among the top 20 percent in the health services industry.
Core employer-paid benefits include long-term disability insurance, life insurance, business travel accident insurance and a cash balance retirement plan. BWHers also have access to 90 percent employer-paid medical coverage, plus generous dental and paid time-off benefits.
One recently added benefit is a retiree medical savings account (RMSA) that allows employees age 50 and over to build up funds for the medical, dental, vision and hearing expenses they may incur in retirement. You can enroll in an RMSA at any time of the year and receive tax-free interest on your contributions, plus a matching contribution from BWH of up to $750 per calendar year.
