BWH celebrates Veterans Day and the 232nd Marine Corps birthday and remembers the troops currently serving overseas Nov. 9, at noon, in the PBB Rotunda at 15 Francis St. Enjoy cake and remarks by BWH Chief Medical Officer and Navy veteran Anthony Whittemore, MD. Personal memorabilia from BWHers who have served will also be on display.

The Center for Community Health and Health Equity is seeking volunteers for two programs. Be a pen pal to grade 2 and 3 students in nearby elementary schools. Or, help students in nearby elementary schools with science projects every other week for eight weeks. BWHers also can volunteer to speak to a classroom about their work.
