A written agreement for personal outside consulting work needs to be submitted for review before you may enter into it. As of Oct. 1, the review process will be handled by Partners Office for Interactions with Industry (OII). If you have been asked to provide consulting services to a company (such as a pharmaceutical or medical device company), submit your agreement to OII for review. All BWH/BWPO employees who submit employee reimbursement requests for travel and other business-related expenses are encouraged to attend a training session. In recognition of National Midwifery Week, the BWH Midwifery Department is sponsoring a blood drive Thursday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Kistner Library, CWN 4.
Friends and colleagues of Andrew T. McAfee, MD, MSc, of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics, will hold a memorial service in celebration of his life Monday, Oct. 18, at 9 a.m. in Bornstein Amphitheater.
