The 2004 Mary S. Fay Enrichment Awards

Since 1999, the Mary S. Fay Enrichment Awards have been encouraging BWH nurses
to visit other care giving settings to gain new insights on patient care. Made
possible by funding from Yousuf and Estrellita Karsh, Marshall Wolf, MD, the BWH
Department of Medicine and several other donors, the June awards presentation
was an elegant luncheon to honor four teams of applicants and their proposals.
This year’s awards recipients were:
Michael Dumais, RN, BSN, of the Department of Biomedical Engineering
Nursing Development: Incorporation of Video Education in Online Learning Environments
Susan Hayes, RN, BSN, and Ann Marie Colleta, RN, of the Center for Labor and
Birth

Steffanie Schwam, RN, MS and Kelli Smith, RN, BS, of NICU
