Nurse Readers Share Input
Readers of BWH Nurse returned more than 600 surveys to the editorial board and Department of Public Affairs in June, a tremendous showing for the publication’s first-ever readership survey. Nurses completed and returned 260 survey cards, which were included in the June issue, and 351 respondents answered questions through an online survey.
More than 76 percent of respondents reported reading most or all BWH Nurse each month, and more than 81 percent said they prefer receiving the publication in the mail and reading at home.
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete this survey,” said Mairead Hickey, PhD, RN, chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Patient Care Services, who chairs the BWH Nurse editorial board. “We are reviewing the results and expect to apply your feedback to BWH Nurse in coming months.”
