The BWPO Diabetes Outreach Program received a Nesson Award for Collaboration from Partners Community HealthCare, Inc., at the group’s recent annual meeting. The award recognizes the BWPO’s multidisciplinary effort to apply innovative disease management strategies to improve diabetes care. The awards are given annually to PCHI physicians and groups who exemplify Nesson’s commitment to improving patient care and his founding vision for PCHI. The Nesson Awards, which receive support from Pfizer, Inc., are given annually in the areas of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
