On Friday, November 8, BWH participated in a citywide emergency preparedness drill. The exercise was held in conjunction with other area hospitals, as well as local, state, and federal disaster preparedness officials. The drill, which included a simulated Code Amber, involved selected hospital staff and student volunteers. Activities were centered around the ambulance bay, Emergency Department and Duncan Reid Conference Room (command center).
