Department of Nursing Authored Book Debuts

The Department of Nursing celebrated the publication of “Change Leadership in Nursing,” a book that describes how change occurs in a complex hospital system. It was published this summer by Springer Publishing Company.

Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Jackie Someville, PhD, RN, the author of the book’s final chapter, hosted a book signing event and reception honoring co-editors Mairead Hickey, PhD, RN, FAAN, FAHA, BWH executive vice president and COO, and Phyllis Beck Kritek, PhD, RN,FAAN, and the more than 85 BWH contributors.

The book, now in its second printing, is available in the BWH Shop on the Pike and at Amazon.com.
