McDermott Scholarship Presentation Held

Andrea Galante, RN, was awarded the fourth annual Nancy King McDermott Scholarship last month. Galante, a staff nurse in the Medical ICU, is currently pursuing her MSN in Nursing Administration at Northeastern University. Ironically, she is following the same career path as the late McDermott. Galante said, “It is an honor to receive this scholarship, and also to represent BWH in the Northeastern University program. Thank you to the entire McDermott family for continuing to share Nancy’s legacy through this program so nurses like me can pursue valuable education.”
