The Office for Minority Careers (OMC), part of the Center for Faculty Development and Diversity, has changed its name to the Office for Multicultural Faculty Careers to better represent its constituents. The goals of the office have not changed. OMC continues to focus on the recruitment, retention and advancement of underrepresented minority faculty and trainees at BWH.
“We feel that the new name speaks affirmatively of the work we are engaged in. Our goal is to create and sustain an exemplary and inclusive faculty that reflects the diversity of the population that we train and serve,” said Jabbar R. Bennett, PhD, administrative director of the OMC.
