Turano Named CDIC Assistant Nurse Manager

Lillian Turano, BSN, RN, CCRN, joined BWH in November as assistant nurse manager of the Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Interventional Center (CDIC). Turano works closely with CDIC nurse manager Beth McDonald, BSN, MBA, RN, assistant nurse manager Brenda DiConza, RN, and the 108 nurses, patient care assistants and technicians who work in the Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab and Cardiovascular Recovery Room.
Turano comes to BWH from the Lahey Clinic Medical Center, where she served as assistant nurse manager of the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. At Lahey, Turano assisted in the opening of two 18-bed medical/surgical telemetry units, which involved recruiting staff, orchestrating a three-day orientation program and implementing the unit’s supply management system. Turano also has held staff and care coordination positions at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.
Turano earned her BSN from Pace University and a BS in Exercise Science from Rutgers University.
